“My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD because He has dealt bountifully with me.” (Psalm 13 v 6)
Such is the bounty of Your love, Holy Trinity,
Out of steadfast faithfulness towards us,
Releasing us from the captivity of satan,
Nation by nation we can rejoice in Your kindness.
You offer us Father, a share in godliness,
Presenting this to us in the Person of Jesus,
Then, lest we let go of love’s purpose,
You further equip us by the possessions of Your Spirit.
It is the Spirit of holiness who blesses us in Jesus,
Showing Him to be the way of life we are to lead,
Claiming the truth we are to stand firm upon.
Lord God, in Your Son, by Your Spirit,
You are with us everywhere, charting our progress.
“Be sure to take notice of this; everyone should be quick to listen but slow to speak or become angry.
Man’s anger can never bring about the good life that God desires. Rid yourselves of everything that is morally corrupt and the evil that is so prevalent today. Instead, accept humbly the seed of God’s Word that has been planted in your heart, for this can save you.” (James 1 v 19, 20, 21)
You teach us to pray so as to communicate with You,
To learn from You and to abide by Your will.
You fill us with Your Spirit, guiding us wisely
In, through and together with the Lord Jesus,
The Son of Your love and the Master of ours.
Loving us with His unending love, we have peace.
As a people of peace we can bless others,
Riding over animosity and jealousy by holy love
In all its incredible, life enhancing power.
You are our continuous blessing, day by glorious day.
You fill our life completely with the love of the Trinity.
“Everything that is good and perfect is a gift from God. It comes from the Father who created the universe, who never changes as moving shadows do.” (James 1 v 16, 17 The Truth)
“Through the Word of truth, He chose to give us new birth, so that out of His whole creation we are those who come first, as His own children.” (James 1 v 18)
O what a blessing it is to receive the Lord Jesus as Saviour and Lord, coming to Him as God’s living, abiding Word of truth, living amongst us by the Holy Spirit’s power of life changing love. Therefore let us pray in
love’s response to God’s power of love. Amen.
